Our Mission
Conductive inks have many uses, being used from circuit creation in printed electronics to electrode manufacturing for point-of-care (POC) diagnostics. Current methods for manufacturing conductive inks each have their own drawbacks, such as short working times, a lack of ink reclamation, difficulties with multiple passes, and separate curing procedures just to name a few. Our goal is to produce a device that can solve these problems, providing a higher throughput by automating the process of printing and curing, as well as increasing accessibility to conductive ink printing.

Fluxergy is a biotechnology company located in Irvine focused on creating the first multimodal POC analyzer that allows caregivers and patients the capability to make informed POC decisions. We are assisted by our mentor team at Fluxergy which consists of Sahir Gandhi (R&D Manager), Peter Lamberg (Sr. R&D Engineer), and Kaylee Chew (R&D Engineer). Our mentor team has guided us in identifying key areas of growth in our device design, as well as aiding us in staying within the scope of the project.
We are also assisted by our teaching team at UCI, consisting of Dr. King and Dr. Juhasz, as well as our wonderful TAs Sina and Jiaxin. The teaching team has assisted us in our journey learning more about the research and development process of our device. With their help we have been given the tools necessary for device development.
